We prefer "conscious" over "sustainable" as we believe that no fashion business can be 100% green.
Being conscious of people and planet is woven into every element of B.X.M, and we are always striving to to better.
We offer the highest quality sports bras we can, so they last for longer and our customers can buy less of them.

Our fabrics
All of our bras are made using 100% ECONYL® regenerated nylon, an infinitely recyclable material made from discarded ocean plastic and unwanted fabric scraps. We chose to use this fabric as it requires less water to create and produce less waste than traditional materials, plus it’s helping to clear our oceans.
We ensure that our manufacturers are economical when cutting the fabric for constructing the bras to ensure we minimise waste. All off-cuts are kept for use in future products vs going into landfill.

Our manufacturing
All of our bras are made by a small female owned and run factory just outside London. They ensure that all of their staff are not only paid a fair wage, they also recieve holiday/sick pay and other benefits. On top of all of this, it has a lovely atmosphere - we love heading up there to meet the girls and have a bit of a chat.
The t-shirts are made by AS Colour, a UK based wholesale provider who puts social responsibility at the heard of everything they do. Click here to find out more about their people and planet intiatives.
They are then screenprinted by Fifth Column, a living wage provider based in North London who pride themselves on only use eco-conscious inks to avoid polluting the water system.

Our packaging
All of our packaging is entirely reusable and recyclable.
The cards, hang tags, stickers and postal bags/boxes are made from recycled waste - all of the printed material is done using eco-conscious inks and dyes.
The tissue paper and tape is made from recycled paper and is also fully recycleable.
We have designed as many elements of our packaging to be reusable as well as recyclable.
We're not perfect, and are always striving for new and innovative ways for us to be more conscious of people and the planet - if you have any suggestions we'd love to hear them.
