How to measure your bra size

Did you know that 80% of women in the UK aren't wearing the right bra size? This makes us a bit mad to be honest, so here are our top tips and quick bra measuring guide to help you make sure you're getting the right size for you.

First things first, make sure you are using a soft, non-stretch, tape measure - this will give you the most accurate measurement.

Secondly, have a pen and paper (and possibly a calculator) handy to note down your measurements as you go. There is a bit of arithmetic required between the underbust and cup measurements - they obviously wouldn't make it easy for us!

Finally, it's easier (and more accurate) if you do the measuring over an existing bra - ideally a non-padded, soft cup, everyday one.

Your underband size

Making sure that you are looking at the inches side, loop your tape measure around your ribcage directly under where your boobs are (think of where your underwiring might sit in a regular bra).

The tape measure should be horizontal around your ribcage and should not drop at the back. For easy reading, we'd suggest having the start of the tape measure facing forwards just below your sternum.

This is your underband size - bra sizing is usually done in even numbers, if you are between sizes then we would recommend sizing down in the underband.

Your cup size

Next move the tape measure up to around the fullest part of your bust (roughly about where your nipple is).

Make sure that the tape measure is taught (without cutting into your boobs) and at the same level all of the way around.

Take a note of the number here, we'll need it to work out your cup size using the table below.

Working out your bra size

Now that you've got both our underbust and cup measurements, subtract your underbust number from your cup number - this value will help you work out your cup size using the universal sizing table to the right.

So, for example if your underbust measurement is 32 inches and your cup measurement is 41 inches. 41 - 32 = 9in, so you are a 32G.

Our limitless bras run true to size, however some people can feel that the underband runs a little large. So if you are between sizes, we'd suggest going with a smaller underband size.

Fearless bra sizing

Our fearless bra offers a medium impact fit so runs slightly larger, if you would prefer a more compressive fit then we would suggest sizing down in the cup size and the underband.

T-shirt sizing

Our cropped t-shirts are a more relaxed fit. If you would prefer a tighter fit, we suggest ordering the size down.
